The Process Circle
Next >>>

The Process Circle derives from Native American Healing and Council Circles, and the mindfulness approach of Buddhist oriented Core Process Psychotherapy. It breaks down our levels of awareness—physical, emotional, mental and imaginal—into manageable bits. So the circle becomes a forum for the building blocks of awareness. People describe it as “magical”, “powerful” and “revolutionary”.

People receiving attention in the middle of the circle—the “clients” - feel contained, supported and seen. Facilitators who are working with the “client” say they too feel supported, and because the whole circle is attending to different aspects of the client, the practitioner does not need to feel that they have to “get it right”.

The astonishing thing is how so many people take the Process Circle away, adapt it, and use it in different situations, such as, for example, decision-making, or very specific tasks.

This is a One-Day, Introductory Workshop, although it can be pitched at many levels.
