About CAER

was founded by Jo May in 1978 to provide innovative workshops for personal and spiritual development, and training.

The small country estate which is CAER's home consists of a house, a separate cottage, various outbuildings, and a Gypsy caravan.

The Iron Age settlement which surrounds the house was excavated recently and yielded lots of finds. The fogou is one of the best preserved in the UK.

Accommodation is relaxed, and spacious, and comprises a beautiful grouproom and conservatory, a farmhouse kitchen-diner, comfortable bedrooms with ample bathrooms, and central heating. The centre prides itself on the excellence of its cooking and the overall feeling is one of 'home'.

The surrounding Lands End peninsula, has sandy beaches, spectacular coastal walks, quaint harbours, wild moors, lush valleys, and more ancient sites than anywhere else in Western Europe.

All of this is situated within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
